Well it has been quite a day, some naughty news, some dangerous news.
Before our morning puppy walk we had a visitor at home and for once I was allowed to say hello. Had lots of warnings about jumping up, but I can't help it, I want to be bigger. The lady didn't mind, she said so and I believed her!!
However, the family had coffee in the kitchen and I in my way just ran about puppy style, the lady said I was a very cute puppy. Alright so I like an audience, I rolled on my back, took her my toys, one of my favorite toys is an empty plastic milk bottle, nice and noisy. I also chew up cereal packets.
Now under the table next to her feet I found her basket, sniffed around, interesting but then the family caught me and I was warned to stay out. I was wandering down the hallway when I heard the lady scream, I rushed back. Oops looks like she put her hand into her basket and found my chewed up piece of cardboard, I wondered where I had left that. They all look at me accusingly, as if I could do that on purpose, I'm only a puppy, not Einstein!
So later we left for our walk, it was such a nice warm sunny day. But I wasn't the only creature that wanted to feel the warmth of the sun on our backs.
I discovered today that the world is not a very nice place to be, the big black dog was looking at something. The family went to see what she had found. A snake. Now I had never even heard about snakes before, let alone seen one and what kind does the big black dog have to find: an ADDER. This didn't mean anything to me until I sit in the car and listen to my family. So now I do not like snakes. Do we have to go for a walk tomorrow? I'm going to be scared! Help.
We got home but every stick I saw in the garden looked like a snake.
I decided to have my puppy biscuits in the kitchen, do snakes come indoors? I'm supposed to protect my house and family, forget that!
Oh well, I had a nice puppy snooze, went outside and tipped over the water bowl, my feet needed cooling down.
Time I think to start searching for a new place to dig my new secret 'hidey' hole. I found a good place below the apple tree, no-one will look there. It got a little tough I found some roots to the tree but the hole is getting bigger, I will just have to work on it.
Oh got to go that cat from next door is looking over at me from the roof of our shed, see him off........
