*SUPER BOWL* Is it extra dinner?

Hi,
All day I heard nothing except the words 'Super Bowl', so when puppy/doggie dinner time came round I expected a larger dinner treat for me.
I don't understand I was given my usual amount, you know the amount I mean, never enough!
People, they don't make sense do they?
Now for an embarrassing note, a doggie friend of mine, who will be nameless mentioned something we don't usually talk about........I'll whisper.....gas...
I know all about that, it doesn't bother me but again people, why do they get all bothered? I'm the one who sometimes has a problem not them. But they were passed a report and I thought maybe I should put it on here. Only 2 pages.
'8 tips to reduce your dog's flatulence' (What's flatulence?) Anyway you can read it if you want to, just click here:
I hope your weekend has been good I had a great day today, they took me on a long long puppy walk. I don't know why but they seem so much happier if I'm tired. Just as well because the rain's pouring down outside, I'm tired of feeling wet on my back. I love puddling in the water and a wet tummy doesn't worry me but it's water from above that annoy's me!
Hey, my family has gone crazy, I've woken up a little. It's late evening here and they are talking about a football game, well yes I'm on my way, always keen on a ball game. They are shouting Super Bowl again, perhaps they mean more dinner at supper time, I'm off, Yeah Food!...............

STILL A PUPPY - YEAH!!!

Hi everybody,

How are you?

Me I'm feeling just great and just like a puppy again because today I did something I haven't done in ages!

I ate a DVD as they called it. I thought it was a shiny Frisbee. All I did was walk past the TV and there it was shining in the sunshine, so I picked it up. Bit slippery and went out to the garden.

Mind you I did cut my tongue when it broke! Did I get any sympathy, No of course I didn't. Yet the Big Black Dog she's always covered in blood, runs and jumps all through the prickly stuff on our dog walks and they are always saying 'Oh you've cut yourself'

Me - they left me to bleed to death!

Part of me says don't take another one, but you know me if I see something I have to eat it. Like the car! I keep hearing these comments about how can they buy another car. Well I was very young then and okay I have torn out the rear part, right down to the metal. Well somebody covered the back in this carpet and what's carpet for, chewing!

Maybe car makers should create materials that are dog proof, then my family and I could try it out! Bet there's nothing I can't get through. Always remember fellow puppies: life is for chewing. Anything at nose height deserved to be chewed - I always say.
Well must go now, time to hunt down that cat from next door. Seems to me he doesn't like the winter weather, he's hardly outside these days, the scaredy cat!
Bye for now.................... Cats drool............Puppies rule

HORRIBLE NEWS - READ ON!!

Helloooo,
Boy do I have news for you today.
My family is telling everyone how I am getting to be a better puppy dog every day. Don't believe them!
See that banner above my photograph, I blame them.
When the family went away on holiday after Christmas, I had to stay with Grandma. Well I like Grandma she feeds me cookies and even baked some of those in the recipe book. BUT Grandpa bought that 'Sit Stay Fetch' book.
Huh, does it work, not if I had my way!!
Too much work and they call it play!
I know on my puppy walks I have stopped pulling on the lead but that is only because I got tired of being yanked back all the time. And they have the nerve to think they are training me!
No - anything I'm doing of course it is my decision.
I still chase rabbits and deer and bark at the mailman, no I'm not trained - no never will be.
Throw the book away - don't need it.
Hey, they are calling my name, could be cookie time, must go.
What ever you do, don't check out that 'Sit Stay Fetch' Dogs are happier - wild and free.
And I approve of this message !!!!!!!

GREAT WEEKEND FOR A PUPPY

Hi everybody,

I had a great weekend, hope you did too.

I went on so many walks it was fantastic!

I know I get into trouble but I just can't help chasing the deer, as soon as they see me they run. Doesn't that mean they want me to play? So I run as well.

And guess what, it has rained so much here our puddles are like swimming pools! We are having a great time jumping and splashing. The mud seems to be so far down I'm not getting that dirty, so for once I'm not being told off so much. Although the water makes us smell a little 'iffy' they call it!! Don't know what that means.

Yesterday at our dog walk car park somebody had tied these big round balls to the gate. I thought wow I can play with them. Weird - I jumped up grabbed one, suddenly BANG, it exploded on me! There was this awful rubbery taste. I tried to chase another one, caught it and jumped on it - BANG - what kind of balls are these. Someone said balloons, what's that? What kind of ball are they?

I want to say hi to my friend Deuce and thank you for the message, I'm glad your Mom took the recipes. I love the Bacon Bites, but tell your Mom not to add garlic. My Mom says I wouldn't like it!! The Big Black Dog likes the Doggie Biscuits. I just want to know why we haven't cooked all of them yet?

Sorry I have to run off now I think I can hear someone coming in, must go, have to defend the front door, the hallway is my domain!

See you soon...........

Your Favorite PUPPY is back!!!!!!!

Hi everyone I'm back!
Did you miss me? I tried hard to miss you, honestly.
I am sorry I have been away for so long. Think I was in the witness protection programme or imprisoned for a crime I didn't commit. (Well actually I've committed a few but underage wrong doing's doesn't count, does it?)
Anyway I returned home from a lovely rest at the 'seaside', (that was a rest? I was so busy!) hope you like my pictures.
Here I found all those nasty builders have left our house and now I have so much to explore. Fun..........
I'm getting older now but they still call me a puppy, although they were proved right the day we got back. I started running round and round the house, checking rooms, sniffing here and there, I got so excited that even at my age I leaked a little puddle. So they sent me outside and I realised I had forgotten our garden. I'm stupid! So I had to run round there as well.
Gosh coming home is very tiring. Our house looks and smells all wrong! I suppose I am going to have to start putting my touches everywhere, needs a few of my smelly hairs and drool drops! How am I going to sleep, it's all so .....what's the word......CLEAN!!!!
Well I just wanted to let you know I am back and I will tell you later this week some of the adventures that we got up to while we were away.
I must go visit the kitchen I've forgotten where they keep the cookie jar, I'm so hungry! Oh my I've forgotten where they keep the kitchen, they moved me out and the kitchen, now where did they put it?
Help....must eat, must sleep, so hungry, so tired, bye for now............Great to be back.

Puppy still Naughty!

Hello,
Are you still visiting me because I am not getting any better it would seem.
Yesterday I was in such trouble with the builders car, I really didn't mean to do it.
Well after dinner I thought I had been forgiven when the family picked up my puppy leash and I cried with joy, they still loved me and we were going out. My favorite time.
I ran to the car and got in the right one!
Then to my horror discovered we were going to puppy training school, no I thought not that punishment again.
Problem was for the first time my teacher was very displeased with me.
I can't do anything right.
Sometimes we have a lesson indoors and sometimes out in the field. Last night we did recall again, but out on a make believe walk. I know the difference.
They used this very very long leash, in order to pretend I was free, I wasn't.
I got into trouble because I kept jumping up at my teacher, my family knows I do that on a walk with people. I also scratched her stomach, I do that too. I'm bad.
Then along the edge of the field came a strange dog, just happened to be out on a walk, nothing to do with school. Of course I had to run over to say hello, wouldn't you?
But I honestly did not hear them call me once. They must have been calling my name very quietly. In time I felt that long leash shorten up and I had to return to my teacher, oops she was not pleased with me at all.
So my family and I went home, I heard them all talking about me. What will my punishment be I wondered as I went to my puppy bed, very unhappy.
****
Yeah I got up this morning everyone seems very happy, after breakfast we went out on our usual puppy walk and guess what happened. I get extra treats.....Yep... after all that playing up and trouble last night, it seems they want to control me by using more treats.
Hey I recommended puppy training school and my wonderful teacher to any dog around.
So I'm not stupid, the more I play up, the more treats I'm going to get. Is there a catch here?
They kept calling me over and in their hand were treats, I eat one, I run off again. I like this!
Life just can't get any better....

Swimming Puppy

Hello Everybody..Super Puppy here..
I have to say I am so sorry for being absent again, well the family made me said that, I've had a great time swimming and having fun.
But our house is a building site and we escaped again, every time I come home the house is growing bigger, I'll get lost in the new part, is that what they want?
Today this is just a short post to say I am back and popped these pictures on to show you how much I have missed you all!
I will post tomorrow, I have puppy training school news and holiday news for you.
Mom says tell my friends she will email around tomorrow, oh she is so lazy, why can't she do her own work, I have things to do. I must get out and let that cat know I'm back and check on my garden.
Lots to do, places to sniff
See you all tomorrow

Happy Puppy

Helloooooooo everybody,
Have I had a wonderful happy super puppy day and its not even my birthday! (that's about 21 weeks away)
It all started because we have builders here, they come in and go out all day, it's great no-one seems to really watch me or the things I can get my paws on.
Well for breakfast I managed to steal a piece of bacon, oh boy do I love bacon... was a little warm at first but I laid it out on the grass and it soon cooled. Satisfied I went back into the house and I couldn't believe my luck, no-one saw me run back to the garden with a piece of toast!
Then I found the front door was open I looked outside how great can this day get? The mailman was coming..I barked all grown up and defending my property, I really believe by the look on his face that he was scared of me, wow!
Only problem was before I could do the decent doggy act of chewing a mailman's trousers, my family caught me there and I was embarrassed to be treated like a puppy again. He obviously felt safe then and patted my head!
We set off on our puppy walk, the sun had bought out the bunny rabbits. I tried and tried to catch one but I will have to learn a little bit more about how to reach those rabbit holes before the bunnies do. I am quite big now so I want to know how does something so small as a bunny rabbit run so very fast!!!!!
I also saw a fox - I don't chase them & 3 deer, they are too big.
When we got home, I jumped out of the car and there it was, a builders lunch bag. I grabbed it and ran to the garden but I couldn't get the stupid plastic covering off and it tasted so yucky! But I got caught and told off, my mom had to make the builder a sandwich and he didn't give me even a small taste.
After lunch I stuck lucky again, everyone is so busy they never saw me find a lovely soft cushion, I went out in the sunshine and curled up for a very relaxing sleep.
Later I chewed a paperback book, they are not so good as the TV guide I like those, but it gave me a new game.
Okay so I got told off a few times but I've had quite a good day, I love living my life, full of adventures of what can I do next and my family is certainly slipping up a bit lately.
I feel tired now think I will retire for a little puppy nap before dinner time and then see what I can finish the day with......Bye for now....

Puppy/Dog Training Classes

Hey everybody do you want a laugh?
I went to puppy school last night and guess what the lesson was. Teaching me my name!!!!!
I know my name thank you.
Idiots.
Spent the whole hour calling my name, I think it was called 'recall'
The teacher however praised me, Oh I've got her worked out, she has treats, she calls my name I trot over and she feeds me a treat and my family pays for this?
Thank you.
The problem is though at puppy training school there is nothing to do except survive the lesson.
When we are on a walk however, everything is so different, there are so many things a puppy just has to do, scents to sniff, people to greet, dogs to play with or growl at, puddles to splash in, delightful rabbit doodles to eat, grass and mud to claw at, sticks to chew, balls to chase, roll in foxes 'doodah!', get wet, get muddy, get 'iffy', air to breathe, distance to run and run and run and "miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep". (Okay apologies - line pinched from Robert Frost, my Mom's favorite poet)
On top of all I do they then expect me to hear them call my name to go home, I don't think so!
Just can't wait for next weeks lesson.....
I'm in trouble again, the car had to go a place called a garage, they had to replace 2 seat belts they called them. Someone and they assume it was me chewed through the belts, I blame that Big Black Dog, Would it be me?
Couldn't find any builders lunchboxes today, just as well I know it was their egg that upset me.
The one good thing about the builders is that the stupid cat from next door doesn't seem to want to cross our garden these days. Wonderful, although I admit I miss our lovely chase me games. Please come back Kitty Kat.
I think its time I took a puppy snooze, forgive me I'm dog tired!

"Does my puppy head look big in this shot?"

HELLOooooooo!!!!!!
Again I say I'm back, I'm sorry but my family keeps taking me away (then I being the clever puppy I am, escapes and runs home!)
But I think I heard I am back for a while now.
So much has happened since I last wrote to you all.
Had to go to that stupid puppy training school again last week, we did 'Heel', waste of time again! What's the point of going for a walk, like we did for our lesson, where I had to walk alongside my owner on the leash. Crazy because when we go for a walk, I am free off the leash and if I'm free there's no way I'm walking next to any people.
Oh...People.. Why did God put people on this earth (well apart from filling my bowl with lovely puppy food to eat!)
I've had such a problem just lately with people, when I was a little puppy everyone loved me. Now I'm a little older and little bigger and they just don't understand when I want to be friendly.
I know we have had a lot of rain and there is a little bit of mud around, but that washes off clothes doesn't it? I can't help jumping up to greet people when I'm out on a walk and now nobody loves me.
We have these men at our house at the moment, I'm not allowed to get near them, Why? It's not fair because they get to spend the day playing with sand and water, something about cement, what's that? There's also a lot of wood around and I just love to chew planks of wood, but our house appears to be growing just like me. I know people can get 'fat' can houses too. Can't wait to explore this new part.
Well if you will forgive me today I will now go and find something to eat, we only came home this morning and I'm starving I hope they remembered to put puppy food in the cupboards.
I will talk to you all tomorrow......

Puppy - "Down"

First I will tell you of last night's puppy school - No they didn't teach me to jump through hoops of fire!
The lesson was 'Down' - what use is that, I already do that - Family: look at the photo - I'm down!!
Every puppy knows 'down' you can't stand up all your life, it would get quite tiring. Have to sleep like a horse! Stupid teacher.
And I got a lecture, they got onto jumping up a certain family member's boyfriend! Well why else does he call at our house if it isn't to play puppy games with me? Isn't it right I should be pleased to see visitors?
Perhaps soon they will realise these lessons are all a waste of money, think of the treats you could buy instead.
Can't wait for next week, probably be 'Stand' !!!!!........Yawn.........or hopefully.....'Sleep'.....Zzzzz
Thank goodness though I hardly ever hear that clicker now, they gave up. Yeah..I won. I do know that's it still too high up in the kitchen for me to get at, but I will soon as I can. This puppy never forgets.
Had a great tennis ball game this afternoon, Mom was busy at the computer and threw tennis balls out of the window while she worked. Garden looked great at the end, then the humans had to spoil my fun and went round to pick them all up, there were 44 balls out there!
Wish I could get into the front driveway, there's a huge pile of sand. Looks just like a big beach for me to play on. Someone said 'builders coming', I don't know what that means, can you play with a builder? I will let you know as soon as I know the answer.
Oh, I will have to go now that cat from next door is sitting in my tree, he's not getting down you know. Oh, perhaps cat's don't understand the word 'down' he could be stuck for years! Just thought we puppies must be far more superior to cat's, we are educated at school. You never hear of cat school!
Must fly............. see you tomorrow...........

Puppy prisoner

Help - Help
Puppy behind bars - Convicted for a crime I haven't yet committed!
Okay - so they caught me going upstairs and I'm not allowed up there on my own, but why do they need the evidence?
Well Super Puppy is back everybody, isn't it nice to be home.
I notice though, we came back in time for me to go to puppy school tonight! Waste of time, but don't tell anyone because I get an extra walk on the way. They think I will 'perform' before the class starts but last week, oops puppy puddle in the middle of the lesson. Ha Ha.
I want to learn super special tricks: like jumping through hoops of fire or walking a tightrope over the Grand Canyon or riding bareback or ......sounds like I want to join the circus, do I have to run away for that?
But at school what do we do, boring things like last week SIT - STAY gimme me a break! Any puppy learns how to do that from the first day in your new home, especially when the dog biscuits come out. I can't wait for tonight's lesson......Yawn......
I've learnt so many things that puppy school will never teach you, like when hot food falls off the baking tray straight from the oven. You just have to keep picking it up, ouch its hot drop it, try to chew again, ouch its hot drop it, lick it over, ouch its hot drop it, I always find after a few attempts you can eat it...just. I always say, if its on the floor you're not getting it back!
School doesn't teach patience, its like the stair gate. You know every time they come downstairs they close the gate but you also know that humans are stupid, they're human, they make mistakes, this puppy is smart! The one time they leave the gate open I'm up there - except last time they took that ridiculous photo!
Guess what else I did that was extra puppy smart, on a walk last week I broke that stupid puppy extending lead - and how much longer do I have to keep saying puppy. Yesterday I was 6 months old!
I wanted half a cake and half a candle, what did I get: half of nothing!
Well I'd better go and do my homework.............Yeah Right..........I'll see if that cat's around to chase......
I'll see you tomorrow but before I go I would like to say hi to my best friend Deuce. He has a great blog (the second best one I know) (Guess which one is first?)
Please check him out at http://www.lesliehawes.com/blackdog/ okay so I know its says blackdog but believe me he is nothing like the big black dog that lives here, hmmm, wonder if he would swap places. Be nice to have someone here I could actually play with. Sorry BBD I love you really.

'Grand' Puppy!

Hey don't you think I look grand, I can't be a puppy much longer.
The Big Black Dog says I'm only sitting upright and still because I've been nailed there, how rude!
Today is a quiet day for me, I'm bored. The family are not happy with me, apart from yesterday's bath disaster I kept them up last night. Not a nice subject but I'm still teething and I eat everything, well in the middle of the night I woke my family several times. I kept trying to throw up, eventually I got rid of this huge piece of green plastic. Came from a green tortoise!
So this morning they are not happy with me and the lack of sleep.
We went on a puppy walk and would you believe they took me across the fields, no puddles, they kept me clean. What's the fun in that!
Then we sat in the car while they did some shopping, when I was a little puppy I used to jump the seats and have been known to dive into the shopping bags. Guess what they bought a dog guard and now I can't cross over into the back seat. I tell you my life is getting very boring.
Our next door neighbour doesn't like it when I peep though the holes in the fence and bark at that stupid cat of hers, do you know what she did, covered the holes! I ask you, people everywhere are ganging up on me.
They actually gave me a treat earlier on and said how good I have been today, well I'll tell you I'm bored. Bored. Bored. Big Puppy Bored. Going out of my tiny mind!
This week they seem to think they can be one step ahead of me, I look for my usual playthings, like the TV remote and phones etc. But I can't find them.
And guess what today's Tuesday, tomorrow I start school. I'm going to cry in a minute, my life is falling apart. I feel miserable.
Hang on a minute, the sun is coming out, there's a bird on our bird table it's my job I have to chase them away....Wait that stupid cat is coming across the grass I will have to go, birds in my garden is my job, not his...gotta go..................

The ball's in the puppies court

If that Big Black Dog thinks she is going to get the ball then I will swallow it!
Hi, super puppy here. I have to say that because today no-one else will.
This morning after our puppy walk (and they said I was good out today!) we went off to Grandma's House and I don't think I will ever be invited there again.
Now as I have said before I like Grandma, she spoils me so I didn't set out to upset her at all. She still calls me her little puppy, I'm not little any more!
Anyway everybody was in the garden and I was taking a look around the house, now Grandma is old and I mean really old, you know the wrinkle kind, she must be at least 50 odd!!
But in her house she does not have paint on the walls in her rooms, she has what they call wallpaper (so I heard them say later).
Well I'm sniffing along that funny piece of wood border that goes all around the bottom of the floor and there was this little piece of paper sticking out from the wall. Of course my puppy nose was interested, I licked it, the piece became a little softer. Oops, so I used my teeth, the next thing I knew was this paper started to come away from the wall and I had hold of a strip that was as long as a man. I looked at the wall, well there was a big hole but I thought no, no-one will notice that.
How wrong could I be?
Grandma was not amused, I'm getting fed up with all this finger pointing they keep doing at me lately.
However, when they had a cup of tea, Grandma still gave me a oreo, my favorite! I put my head in her lap to say sorry and I think she forgave me.
In the car home though the family went mad, kept shouting at me and something about they have to go back next week, I thought hurrah yes. Then they said I can't go they have to redecorate or what ever that means.
When we got home I thought it best to stay in my safe haven in the garden, I could just see that cat next door through a tiny gap in the fence, so I barked constantly at him to annoy him until the lady next door shouted at me to keep quiet. Oh well annoy everybody its my way.
Time for a puppy nap I think............

A Puppies Summer

Hi everyone, isn't the summer wonderful, but all our fields are just too high for this puppy! Help!
Had a lovely puppy walk this morning but spoilt things when we got home, the family have discovered that I am now able to see out of our garden.
I climb up onto a garden bench seat, cross over to an old dumpster left in the corner, from there I can put my paws on the top of our fence and look over. Only problem is the view has nothing to look at, just waste land. But for this puppy I can dream of being free. Except this morning they caught me, I got told off, now they have moved things around, I'll just have to work it out another way.
At lunch time when the family finish eating, the big black dog and I always get a little something, today it was a crust from their ham sandwich. I am supposed to know my place. BBD (Big Black Dog) goes first then little puppy me, but this morning the tiny morsel of ham they offered just smelt too good to wait so I was very naughty. I snatched BBD's piece and mine in one go. Oh Boy did I get told off for that. Then they go off to the kitchen to find an extra piece of lovely ham just for BBD, honestly they spoil that dog!
I got my own back later in the afternoon, I think it was the little rabbit doodles that I shouldn't have touched when we were out, because after lunch I bought them all up all over BBD's blanket! Oops. In trouble again, then they go and find her a new one, typical, mine is old and puppy smelly!
They keep shouting at me at the moment they keep saying they have to watch me every minute of every day and they do, it's no fun.
Yesterday when they went upstairs I took a teddy bear off the window ledge in the hall and took him out to the garden, just for fresh air you understand. He got a little wet from some licking, but even he's now getting better treatment than I am.
Well I think it's time to investigate the garden, but first I want to say Hi to my friend Deuce. I have been reading your pages, love the photos. But it would appear I can't leave any comments for you, have to ask my family about loggin in? If you love your water hoses then you really would love my mud pools!
I'll see you all tomorrow, never forget puppies rule.

A Puppies Hello!

Me again, I'm sure any day now this farmer will cut his grass, it's making this puppy sneeze a lot.
Short post today but I wanted to tell you what happened this morning because I got told off big time again.
I've eaten the car!
We went for our puppy walk, first of all I must tell you how big I am now, I can jump into the car by myself. Makes me feel big and surprises that Big Black Dog, she always sits there so grand, well now I can jump in just like her.
Anyway we were driving along the road, I was having fun in the back, suddenly I caught the eye of the driver in that terrible invention of a backwards mirror, the one designed so they can see what I am up to. I'm sitting there with a piece of the car in my mouth. Brakes go on, I thought they had stopped for something important but it was just to stop me. They found out I have been chewing my way through the panels at the back, well they are covered in carpet with foam underneath. They were not amused.
After our walk, I was put under supervision for the drive home. They keep muttering about who would buy the car now? I don't want anybody to buy the car, we need it to go puppy walkies.
And when we got home they said I didn't deserve a bone biscuit, they did give me one, but they had that look on the faces.
I hate being in trouble......
If I survive I'll see you tomorrow......

Puppies Return

I'M BACK EVERYBODY!!
Seriously though I am sorry that I was away for so long, I missed you all.
This is just a quick note to apologise (the family made me say that!) they said I had to tell you we had a family emergency but everything is okay now.
All I remember is being bungled into the car like a kidnap victim, being dumped off at Grandma's house, well actually I quite like Grandma & Grandpa, he takes me for walks. Then today I think they paid the ransom because they bought me home, Yippee. So if you will excuse me I have a lot of work to do in the house, checking everything is as I left it.
I want to say Hi to Deuce for your nice note, I will be in touch.
Hopefully I will post tomorrow, if we are not back to normal by then you will hear me howling, but could be next day. See you then. Never forget...Puppies Rule..........

Fields of Puppy

"Daisy, Daisy......" They said I would look puppy cute if I sat in the daisy field, I just have one question, does this grass stuff ever stop growing? I'm a growing puppy and every time I put on a few inches I come into the field and the grass has overtaken me again!
Today I want to say a big puppy hi and thank you to my new friends, DEUCE and Leslie. Just as long as you thought it was the big black dog who looked funny yesterday, mind you it couldn't have been me, you couldn't see me!!
I love to start my day on puppy walks out in the open, but I will admit it here today I get scared sometimes. I'm only little and where we live there are a lot of big silver metal birds that roar around in the sky. They make a lot of noise and as they pass over my head I always stop to watch them, convinced one day they will fall on my little head. Splat! And those flying egg whisk things as well. And we have big noisy steam train engine thingies that fly past me on a puppy walk blowing clouds of black smoke all over the place, when they blow their whistle, oh my spine shivers. But apart from that I'm not scared of anything, I'm tough!
I can even prove that because today after enjoying my lovely puppy meal lunch I was in the garden when I saw this big black plastic bag. My family doesn't usually put anything in this corner of the garden so I wondered what could be inside. Bravely I sniffed it, smelt quite interesting, I started to claw at it with my paw and soon the contents spilled onto the path. Wow, kitchen stuff. Now if there is something I really love it's discovering the leftovers from the kitchen bin. I know they usually hide it somewhere else because I can never find where it goes, but today ho ho ho. Oh dear I'm not too keen on potato skins, yucky, oh, banana, no, must be something good in here. Ah some meat pie that's more like it. I go a little deeper find a tiny morsel of sponge cake, tear the paper away, anything else? The best find of all, turkey, now we are talking, I love turkey.............
Help, some one's got my collar, I've been found out, No, being dragged back indoors. Oh and I had just got to the turkey. Please, please let me go back.
They've put me in the dining room, I call this place my punishment room.
Life was going so well.
I know the routine they will come in, give me a talking too, as if that will make any difference, but I will sit here with my best cutest puppy face, try to nod in all the right places, hug their leg. They will say not to do it again, if I could smile I would. I know they love me, I will go out to play again.
Suckers...........because if I can find anything to eat, chew, rob, steal, play with, I will. As I always say, Puppies Rule.
See you tomorrow.................

Puppy garden games

Hi everyone your super puppy here, this is me playing my favorite game, biting the big black dogs leg, I think she is having a very happy time don't you? She must love playing like this because she never tells me off!
Not like my family - I got into trouble again today, it started at breakfast time. I think they just forget sometimes that I'm a growing puppy and one of them left some toast on a plate, guess what all I had to do was jump just a little bit and I was off to the garden to enjoy my find. Ha ha, they never saw me coming, problem was they saw me going but never caught me, gobbled that very quickly.
They were laughing though, must have known it was their fault!!
We went on our puppy walk, the sun was shining, the grass was higher than me, but would you believe it they kept me well away from the muddy puddles, cheek!
Oh I did run and I got hot, back at the car they gave me some water, I know I drank too fast. As we set off, I knew I had drunk too fast, combined with the grass I had been eating, it all came out again. Nobody was very amused.
Back home they put me in the garden, they always do that, I'm not going to be bad again, that's history. Onto the next game. I've been working on this hole in the garden fence, it's getting bigger, not big enough for this puppy yet. I got bored so went over to put in some more work on the hole I'm digging in the grass. That is getting bigger I'm down to some moist mud now, comes up quite well when you use your paws.
I took a nice puppy nap curled up in the sun next to the shed, always a favorite place. Then I heard him, that darn cat from next door, he had the nerve to jump onto the top of our shed roof. He knows I'm only a little puppy and as much as I tried to jump higherI still couldn't reach him and he knew it. He kept teasing me by putting his paw down almost close enough for me to touch him but just out of reach.
Next thing I knew he jumped down and tore across MY garden, I took off determined to catch him. There we went 90 miles an hour across the lawn, cat and puppy almost neck and neck, tearing up the path and down towards the back gate, I almost got him, then and I still don't know how he did it, he took off vertically and just climbed up the fence, wish I could do that but I can't and I didn't. No what did I do, I couldn't stop in time and I slammed head first into the fence, luckily just a little way down from where I am working on my hole. Thank goodness because this had weakened the fence and it gave way instead of knocking me out.
My family on hearing the commotion and the cat's stupid wailing, came running, just in time to see my crash. At first they were quite concerned for me, saying poor little puppy, well until they saw I was perfectly okay, and then saw the broken fence, oops again.
To be honest my afternoon was quite quiet, I thought I had better lie low, they had to go out and buy another fence, which they had to put up quickly as both of us could have got out easily, oh life never goes the way you want it to, does it.
Oh, here they come, quick my puppy face, I'm sorry, please love me I am so cute! They stroked my head. YES they still love me. See you tomorrow..............
