GREAT WEEKEND FOR A PUPPY
Hi everybody,
I had a great weekend, hope you did too.
I went on so many walks it was fantastic!
I know I get into trouble but I just can't help chasing the deer, as soon as they see me they run. Doesn't that mean they want me to play? So I run as well.
And guess what, it has rained so much here our puddles are like swimming pools! We are having a great time jumping and splashing. The mud seems to be so far down I'm not getting that dirty, so for once I'm not being told off so much. Although the water makes us smell a little 'iffy' they call it!! Don't know what that means.
Yesterday at our dog walk car park somebody had tied these big round balls to the gate. I thought wow I can play with them. Weird - I jumped up grabbed one, suddenly BANG, it exploded on me! There was this awful rubbery taste. I tried to chase another one, caught it and jumped on it - BANG - what kind of balls are these. Someone said balloons, what's that? What kind of ball are they?
I want to say hi to my friend Deuce and thank you for the message, I'm glad your Mom took the recipes. I love the Bacon Bites, but tell your Mom not to add garlic. My Mom says I wouldn't like it!! The Big Black Dog likes the Doggie Biscuits. I just want to know why we haven't cooked all of them yet?
Sorry I have to run off now I think I can hear someone coming in, must go, have to defend the front door, the hallway is my domain!
See you soon...........

The ball's in the puppies court
Hi, super puppy here. I have to say that because today no-one else will.
This morning after our puppy walk (and they said I was good out today!) we went off to Grandma's House and I don't think I will ever be invited there again.
Now as I have said before I like Grandma, she spoils me so I didn't set out to upset her at all. She still calls me her little puppy, I'm not little any more!
Anyway everybody was in the garden and I was taking a look around the house, now Grandma is old and I mean really old, you know the wrinkle kind, she must be at least 50 odd!!
But in her house she does not have paint on the walls in her rooms, she has what they call wallpaper (so I heard them say later).
Well I'm sniffing along that funny piece of wood border that goes all around the bottom of the floor and there was this little piece of paper sticking out from the wall. Of course my puppy nose was interested, I licked it, the piece became a little softer. Oops, so I used my teeth, the next thing I knew was this paper started to come away from the wall and I had hold of a strip that was as long as a man. I looked at the wall, well there was a big hole but I thought no, no-one will notice that.
How wrong could I be?
Grandma was not amused, I'm getting fed up with all this finger pointing they keep doing at me lately.
However, when they had a cup of tea, Grandma still gave me a oreo, my favorite! I put my head in her lap to say sorry and I think she forgave me.
In the car home though the family went mad, kept shouting at me and something about they have to go back next week, I thought hurrah yes. Then they said I can't go they have to redecorate or what ever that means.
When we got home I thought it best to stay in my safe haven in the garden, I could just see that cat next door through a tiny gap in the fence, so I barked constantly at him to annoy him until the lady next door shouted at me to keep quiet. Oh well annoy everybody its my way.
Time for a puppy nap I think............

A Puppies Summer
Sunday, 17 June 2007
A Puppies Hello!
Short post today but I wanted to tell you what happened this morning because I got told off big time again.
I've eaten the car!
We went for our puppy walk, first of all I must tell you how big I am now, I can jump into the car by myself. Makes me feel big and surprises that Big Black Dog, she always sits there so grand, well now I can jump in just like her.
Anyway we were driving along the road, I was having fun in the back, suddenly I caught the eye of the driver in that terrible invention of a backwards mirror, the one designed so they can see what I am up to. I'm sitting there with a piece of the car in my mouth. Brakes go on, I thought they had stopped for something important but it was just to stop me. They found out I have been chewing my way through the panels at the back, well they are covered in carpet with foam underneath. They were not amused.
After our walk, I was put under supervision for the drive home. They keep muttering about who would buy the car now? I don't want anybody to buy the car, we need it to go puppy walkies.
And when we got home they said I didn't deserve a bone biscuit, they did give me one, but they had that look on the faces.
I hate being in trouble......
If I survive I'll see you tomorrow......

Puppy garden games
Not like my family - I got into trouble again today, it started at breakfast time. I think they just forget sometimes that I'm a growing puppy and one of them left some toast on a plate, guess what all I had to do was jump just a little bit and I was off to the garden to enjoy my find. Ha ha, they never saw me coming, problem was they saw me going but never caught me, gobbled that very quickly.
They were laughing though, must have known it was their fault!!
We went on our puppy walk, the sun was shining, the grass was higher than me, but would you believe it they kept me well away from the muddy puddles, cheek!
Oh I did run and I got hot, back at the car they gave me some water, I know I drank too fast. As we set off, I knew I had drunk too fast, combined with the grass I had been eating, it all came out again. Nobody was very amused.
Back home they put me in the garden, they always do that, I'm not going to be bad again, that's history. Onto the next game. I've been working on this hole in the garden fence, it's getting bigger, not big enough for this puppy yet. I got bored so went over to put in some more work on the hole I'm digging in the grass. That is getting bigger I'm down to some moist mud now, comes up quite well when you use your paws.
I took a nice puppy nap curled up in the sun next to the shed, always a favorite place. Then I heard him, that darn cat from next door, he had the nerve to jump onto the top of our shed roof. He knows I'm only a little puppy and as much as I tried to jump higherI still couldn't reach him and he knew it. He kept teasing me by putting his paw down almost close enough for me to touch him but just out of reach.
Next thing I knew he jumped down and tore across MY garden, I took off determined to catch him. There we went 90 miles an hour across the lawn, cat and puppy almost neck and neck, tearing up the path and down towards the back gate, I almost got him, then and I still don't know how he did it, he took off vertically and just climbed up the fence, wish I could do that but I can't and I didn't. No what did I do, I couldn't stop in time and I slammed head first into the fence, luckily just a little way down from where I am working on my hole. Thank goodness because this had weakened the fence and it gave way instead of knocking me out.
My family on hearing the commotion and the cat's stupid wailing, came running, just in time to see my crash. At first they were quite concerned for me, saying poor little puppy, well until they saw I was perfectly okay, and then saw the broken fence, oops again.
To be honest my afternoon was quite quiet, I thought I had better lie low, they had to go out and buy another fence, which they had to put up quickly as both of us could have got out easily, oh life never goes the way you want it to, does it.
Oh, here they come, quick my puppy face, I'm sorry, please love me I am so cute! They stroked my head. YES they still love me. See you tomorrow..............
