Super Puppy v. CAT!!!

Hi there,
First have to say this is a very quick & short post for me because in a minute I have to prepare for Puppy School Graduation 2007. (I don't think for a second that yours truly will be graduating!)
Ha Ha
But my news today was to ask you "Have you ever licked a cat?"
My advice Don't. They taste awful! Their hair is all short, stubby and rough.
My family got up very early this morning and I went outside into the garden about 6:30am (yes am, I couldn't believe it either, I was fast asleep!) It was all very quiet in the neighborhood, when suddenly under the gap in the fence I saw the cat from next door. He was sleeping out there, I saw my chance so I stuck my tongue under the fence, Yucky!
You should have heard the noise as he flew away into his garden, the lady came rushing out accusing me of attacking her cat. How could I get hold of him.
Funny start to my day, but then we had an early puppy walk and everybody had to be somewhere, I was stuck with a puppy sitter again.
Well I have to go now, I wonder if they have a cap and gown in my size?
Will let you know of my graduation ceremony tomorrow........

Strong Puppy

Super Strong Puppy here, hello everybody.

I got into big trouble this morning, well we went out on our usual puppy walk, the sun was shinning and I was having such fun running here and there and everywhere.

All of a sudden I saw him, a Goldie looked just like me, well what would you do, of course I had to say hello. I'm friendly....

When I reached him however he wasn't friendly at all, he started barking at me, so I barked back. The noise was deafening, my family was not impressed and what did they do. Put me on the leash!
Okay so maybe I rushed at him in my usual way, straight into someone at 102mph! Life's too short to run slowly.
I didn't like being on the leash and maybe just maybe I pulled a little too hard, I don't know my own strength. The next thing I saw was one of my family flat on the grass as I ran back to 'talk' to this dog. Then I made matters worse by jumping up at his owner as well, I wasn't muddy today! This man got hold of me until my family came over, boy were they cross with me.
And guess what: I was so strong that I even broke my leash, snapped at the collar end, wow, it impressed me, no one else though.
I thought yeah free, no way. They put me on the Big Black Dogs leash, she got to walk back free.
All the way back to the car, in the car and at home they kept telling me off.
I kept hearing why do we go to puppy training school? I kept thinking I've been saying that all the time, what a waste!
So I crept off to the garden and decided it was best to keep a very low profile today.....wonder if it is now safe to ask for a doggie chew? I'll go and find out. Put my best sorry face on and as long as I have a home here tomorrow I'll be back to see you all...........bye.....

Puppy Paws

Hi everybody,

Super Puppy here, fit, healthy and raring to go again. Yes I have bounced back from my death bed!

Had a great morning puppy walk, ran and ran until my little, no long, legs were tired. Saw a couple of rabbits but decided no, today they can live.

The family are being a little strict with me and keep shouting NO! I try to ignore them. What can you do, if you have managed to sneak a piece of toast at breakfast time, there is no NO big enough to make me drop it, I can tell you. I love to run to the garden and eat in peace and quiet. I always beat them, by the time they catch up with me the toast has gone, ha ha.

When we arrived back after our walk I wanted to check out the new area of our house, some men, called painters (what's a painter?) have delivered lots and lots of interesting things. I can't wait to see what these men are going to do. I spent some time sniffing and checking out some new sheets these men have brought. Are they going to sleep on the job? Not with me around they are not!

I got bored in there and wandered back to the kitchen, my mom was unpacking lots of shopping she didn't hear me coming and I made her jump. Oops she dropped a large bag of stuff, I think they are on drugs, I hear about this white powder on the TV. It went all over the floor, wow what a mess. Of course I got the blame and they shouted at me to get out, so I ran to the garden, again. As I ran I left these super little white footprints, I thought it looked neat, so I ran around the hall a little more. I tried licking them, yucky. Who would cook with food that tastes like that?

I stayed in the garden for a while, let them wash the floor clean, then put on my 'I'm so sorry face' it worked.

Never forget fellow puppies, you can do anything you want to but always follow it up with the special forgive me face. See you tomorrow..............

Tummy Ache Pup

Goodbye my friends, I've loved you all.....
I'm sick............ I'm dying.................
I've been so ill and what sympathy do I get, nothing.
The family just look at me as I lie on my death bed and say "serves you right, we told you"
We had this wonderful puppy walk this morning and I discovered the delightful land of the blackberry bushes.
Oh you should have seen them, so many, so big, so juicy.
How could I leave them alone? My family kept pulling me away but everywhere I ran there they were.
First they prickle you then you just have to turn round and bite them off the bush. You know what its like, you eat one, then another one, then another one and so on.....
Well I felt fine, until we got home.
Then I had my after walk puppy biscuits and oops was I bad!
Why do some of the most tasty things in life not like me?
But I have tummy ache.
I don't feel like playing,
I don't feel like running,
I don't feel like eating,
I don't feel like digging,
I don't feel like me!
Through the door I can see the neighbour's cat - oh let him walk across my garden...
I think I died and went to hell, because this isn't heaven....
NO NO NO NO what am I saying, if that cat's out there in my garden.................gotta go........................................................

Ouch these 'straw polls' hurt!

Hi everyone,
Sorry to say I've had a terrible weekend.
Yesterday the family made me very happy, early in the morning they took me out on a very long puppy walk, super.
Never saw the catch though!
They had the nerve to leave both of us at home for the rest of the day.
To make matters worse I got into the dining room and chewed the legs of the dining chairs, oh dear.
Plus hanging in the hall with the coats I found my leash. Oh why would I chew that? Hope it doesn't stop them taking me out.
Today on my puppy walk I found the farmer has 'cut his grass', have you ever walked on dry straw, oh it does prickle!
The rain has come back again and so have the mud puddles, yippee, I love mud.
But then we get back home and they bath me, how rude!
So I have had a horrible time because they keep saying stay on your blanket until your dry!
I'm still a puppy you know, I can't sit still I have to move.
Must be awful to be old, all the Big Black Dog does is sleep, how boring a life is that?
Well I am going to see if I can escape outside, I need to take a sniff around, hopefully I will have some good news to report to you all tomorrow.
lol (lots of licks) super puppy

Happy Puppy

Hi everybody,
As I feel so happy today I thought I would let you see a picture of me with the Big Black Dog. You can see how I've taught her to know her place, couple of steps behind me!
I have had such a great day and for once they are praising me, Wow.
This morning we went out for our usual puppy walk and oh my golly gosh they took a bag of dog treats.
There was this lady coming with some little dog, you know one of those really small ones that you can utterly dominate. I was a little muddy too by then, not that it bothered me one bit. I started to run, as I took my first leap, I heard the rustle of a bag and the word, treats. Not being one to ever turn down food I went back for a bite. Very nice. The lady was walking past but somehow just by looking at the other dog, treats kept coming my way. Oh this will do quite nicely, thank you.
Only problem was I then realised what I had done, they called me a very good girl. But hang on a minute I've just lost a game.
So what do I do the next time we meet a doggie play pal, do I play and get told off or do I forfeit the game for food and a pat on the head.
Oh the problems of life, I'm too little to work that out!
I overheard more good news when we got home, the builders are leaving next week, but I also heard new men are coming. Oh goody new men to train, wonder what work they will do?
I have a problem in my garden, how do you undig a hole?
I've dug this big hole you see, no one seems to have noticed or they have just given up on me! But when I run round the garden I now keep falling in this hole and it hurts, so how do I undig?
Well I think its time to go on a cat hunt, if he really has to insist on crossing my garden this regularly then I am certain he does so purely to have a game and if he wants a game, who am I to say no.
Bye for now, remember puppies rule.........

'Trouble' Puppy

Hi everybody, please say you will be my friend today, I don't have any here!
No one is talking to me.
I'm in deep deep trouble!
Well it all started after our lovely puppy walk this morning. There had been some rain overnight and the puddles were full up again with nice smelly gooey mud. The best kind.
I didn't really get told off for that, they seem to just accept that's me and there's nothing they can do about it. Finally. Although they do shout constantly 'don't shake near me' Why? !!
However we arrived home and I jumped out of the car, I knew it was going to be hose pipe bath time, I don't really mind that too much now either, oh my golly gosh I must be growing up, Help!
But what happened next was like a scene out of a horror movie.
One of the builders went to his car as I was going into the house. He called to his 'mate' up the ladder "I'm going to Moor Park, did you want to come?"
I can't help it I thought he said to me "Would you like more Park ?" Of course I would want to go, so I turned round and ran, he was holding a door open, I jumped in his car.
Oops.
I was filthy, the mud went all over his cloth seats.
There was pandemonium, he was screaming at me, my family was screaming. I am the worst puppy in the whole wide world.
I caused a row with the builders, what a morning. so I've stayed out in the garden. I don't think they will ever let me back in the house.
One good thing though, most of the mud has now dropped off so I won't be needing that bath.
Just might need a new house!
Help,
If I'm still here tomorrow I'll let you know what happened.
I'm going to lie low for a while, bye.......

Calling all Puppies - Never give up your ball!

Hi Everybody Super Puppy here,
As this picture shows thought I would make the Big Black Dog play and what did she do, she stole my ball or rather she thought she could. No way do I ever let a ball go.
I got it back!
That's why I'm called Super Puppy.
I am a little muddy, this morning we went to a new place for my puppy walk and boy was it muddy, it was fantastic but I got into trouble because I always like to lie down in it. Makes the car nice and 'iffy' as they say.
I couldn't post this weekend I'm sorry, we were all sent away. We didn't have any water at home, no baths, Yippee. But then no drinking water either.
I blame the builders I think they dug through the pipes deliberately just to stop work. They keep upsetting my routine. I come home, I go away, I come back, sent off again. I hope we are back now.
We had a hot weekend and I went swimming in a lake (fancy name for large water hole), I can't understand it, when I swim in water holes they shout at me but at this lake they threw toys in for us to play with, they don't know what they want!
More trouble for me today, this morning I ate my first pair of sunglasses, strange things that people put on their faces but quite chewy I must say, looking forward to attacking another pair. I find it strange now I am older that some crimes are worth committing, I think I have got used to the 'odd' telling off. I just let the adults have a good moan, I sit at give them the 'Oh I won't do it again face'. But some things are just too much fun to never do again and I can put up with the telling off.
Here's a tip for any puppies reading this, if you get told off, when they are finished just start something like trying to catch your tail. If you can look stupid they laugh, see problem solved.
Well I think today I have to run, I want to go and see if the builders need my help. Sometimes they leave out long strips of wood which are perfect for chewing and we always have such a great game they just love to chase me round the garden. One or two of them could do with a little more exercise (if you know what I mean!) Ha ha go on chase me then............

Puppy Fun

Hi everybody,
Super puppy here, have I had fun this morning!
My new friend Jim the builder seems to like me, he laughs when he sees me coming. We got back from our puppy walk and I managed to sneak a peep into our new extra house bit! There was this blue plastic sheet for a door, other houses have wooden doors but I suppose my family can't afford a proper one, makes it easier for me to open though, I do hope they change all the doors in the house to this way. That would be great!
Anyway, so I pop inside, messy people. Found some cups on the floor, tried cold coffee, yucky!
Don't know who was sleeping there last night but they didn't clear up, white sheets everywhere, not that white either. Oh my family is changing, never known so much dust, perhaps that dreadful hoover has broken. Oh I hope so I hate the noise that thing makes!
There was this bucket I stuck my 'big' puppy nose inside, it was full of some white powder stuff, made me sneeze, then the white stuff went everywhere, I was covered. But Jim, my new friend, heard me and came in, he just stood there and laughed at me. I thought time for a quick exit and ran for the garden. I left a trail of white powder all the way down the hall.
I like having people in the house because it's stopping my family watching me all the time. Today so far I've managed to find half a chocolate bar, the TV guide, I love tearing that one up, took the remote outside, but they did chase me for that, I got hold of the mail this morning but dropped it before I could escape, one of those awful days when the mail is wrapped in a plastic bag, it was slippery.
And they keep shouting at me in the garden because I'm trying to construct a golf course, I've dug about 8 holes so I have to complete a few more yet!
After all this excitement I think it's time I had a little puppy nap,
See you tomorrow.......

PreSchool Puppy

Yes I am a preschool puppy, watch out I might look different tomorrow!
Just a short post because I am having an extra walk this afternoon, I think they want to try and tire me out so I behave at school later. No chance.
I'm going to school as me and no teacher is going to change me, those other puppies in the class won't know what's about to hit them. Actually I can't wait to go now. See what all this fuss is about.
I've had a good morning, got up found a buffet had been laid out for me. Well I stole a sausage and a piece of bacon! I couldn't believe they forgot I was around, my nose doesn't miss a thing. With all the shouting going on I think it was possible someone didn't have time to make any more and had to go to work with no breakfast, oops.
Then after our morning puppy walk I found a new 'toy'. I've eaten the shed! Well not quite all of it yet, but I found this piece of wood, I pulled and tore at it and yes it started to pull away. There was this hole, I saw a bicycle. Then problem I got caught, the family were very cross, out came hammer and nails. Thing is once I know how to make a hole somewhere I can usually go back later and have another go.
So I had better go and start getting ready for puppy school, I won't have to wear a uniform will I? There had better not be any homework either. Hey do you think they have my brown-bag ready?
I'll tell you all about my lesson tomorrow

'Grand' Puppy!

Hey don't you think I look grand, I can't be a puppy much longer.
The Big Black Dog says I'm only sitting upright and still because I've been nailed there, how rude!
Today is a quiet day for me, I'm bored. The family are not happy with me, apart from yesterday's bath disaster I kept them up last night. Not a nice subject but I'm still teething and I eat everything, well in the middle of the night I woke my family several times. I kept trying to throw up, eventually I got rid of this huge piece of green plastic. Came from a green tortoise!
So this morning they are not happy with me and the lack of sleep.
We went on a puppy walk and would you believe they took me across the fields, no puddles, they kept me clean. What's the fun in that!
Then we sat in the car while they did some shopping, when I was a little puppy I used to jump the seats and have been known to dive into the shopping bags. Guess what they bought a dog guard and now I can't cross over into the back seat. I tell you my life is getting very boring.
Our next door neighbour doesn't like it when I peep though the holes in the fence and bark at that stupid cat of hers, do you know what she did, covered the holes! I ask you, people everywhere are ganging up on me.
They actually gave me a treat earlier on and said how good I have been today, well I'll tell you I'm bored. Bored. Bored. Big Puppy Bored. Going out of my tiny mind!
This week they seem to think they can be one step ahead of me, I look for my usual playthings, like the TV remote and phones etc. But I can't find them.
And guess what today's Tuesday, tomorrow I start school. I'm going to cry in a minute, my life is falling apart. I feel miserable.
Hang on a minute, the sun is coming out, there's a bird on our bird table it's my job I have to chase them away....Wait that stupid cat is coming across the grass I will have to go, birds in my garden is my job, not his...gotta go..................

Puppy at rest

I need a new ring this one has a hole in it, or rather it doesn't!

Hi everybody, Good job this photo was taken before we went out because everything went wrong after our puppy walk this morning.

I had a wonderful walk, in our little town today it is pouring with rain, there is so much mud it is fantastic. The family said it is raining too much to take pictures of the Big Black Dog and I enjoying the pools. Shame you can't see just how deep they are.

I met up with one of my puppy friends, now when I play with others I do tend to roll on my back (see my picture from yesterday!) so somehow I managed to get mud and dirt and rain and tree bark and bunny doodles and maybe a little bit of foxy doodles as well, (I don't think I know what deer doodles look like), all into my coat! I smelt really good.

Well I was just a little bit dirtier than usual and when we arrived home, I wasn't even allowed in!

They set up the 'bath' area in the garden again, I hate baths.

It took two of them to try and get me clean, one had to hold me, the other handled the water hose. Ha ha, one of them got quite wet. Serves them right.
But then things took a turn for the worse, they stood at the door with my big bath towel. Now I don't like being rubbed down, it's worse than the bathing. As they went to wrap me up I took a dive between their legs and somehow I managed to break free. I ran into the house, they chased, although they were screaming at me I think really they were having fun.
I was still soaking wet and leaving little puppy drippy puddles everywhere. I think it's amazing that a puppy can out run stupid humans.
I ran through the hall, round the kitchen, back down the hall again and into the family room they tried to catch me, then suddenly to avoid them I jumped up onto the couch. The more they said 'down' the more I stayed put, I even rolled onto my back, that usually makes them laugh. Not today.
I was having such fun I didn't even see the hand grab my collar and pull me down. Oh no I think I wet the couch, the rug, everything.
I don't think they are ever going to love me again....It seemed a bit late but I had to stand there and let them dry me, I lowered my head in my apologetic way.
I am still a puppy!
If I still have a home and family I'll see you tomorrow, I'd better take a puppy nap and keep quiet for a while.

Bigger Puppy!

Hi,
Just look at me, don't you think I'm growing into a really huge puppy now?
Why do people still call me a puppy?
Do you think I look older than 5 months?
But why is it the older I get the more they tell me off?
And why do I keep asking questions?
Is it because I don't know the answers?
My family just told me to stop being stupid and said why am I wasting every body's time?
This morning on our puppy walk we were joined again by that awful dog training man, I really don't like him! I have this problem you see. When all of us are together everything is fine, if they call me, 'most of' the time I will come back. But I am a very friendly puppy and when I meet people I have this urge to greet them. Can I help it if I never hear them call me? (Another question!)
I will also run ahead to find other dog walkers and my trade mark is to jump all over them with my muddy puppy paws. Oops, people are not too pleased with that. So I had to suffer this stupid man again, he keeps me on the lead and expects me to walk by his side all the time. Impossible. So I had an awful walk but they did say we could go to the park tonight, I hope so I need to run.
When we got home I found we had an intruder in the garden, that cat from next door had climbed into my tree. Wish I could climb the tree! So I had to sit there until he moved. Well I don't know how he did it, I was puppy tired after my walk and I only closed my eyes for 2 seconds, when I looked again he was gone! Next time....
Anyway I'm staying in the garden today I've been in every body's bad books, I got hold of that teddy bear again and ate his ribbon. I chewed up this week's TV guide. And to top it off I buried some clean washing in the garden, I don't think I'm very popular at the moment.
But I'll survive, stay low, come out fighting tomorrow....see you then...

Spot the Puppy!

Hi everybody, talk about where's Waldo?
I'm beginning to think my family is just trying to lose me. If you can spot the black tail I'm just in front!!
But this puppy is getting fed up, why doesn't anybody cut the grass around here? I can't grow quick enough.
After my time away from home I've returned to a great house, they seem to have totally forgotten just how much I can reach, nothing stops me now. Today they put their breakfast on the coffee table, easy pickings. Left the remote boxes out and the TV guide, ha ha. They got a little upset because I take everything outside and it got a little dirty, oops!!
However I was away and missed the first day of puppy training school. Hurrah I thought, I've escaped that torture but no they tell me we are going to start at another place on June 27, soon sort that teacher out!
Had a great puppy walk today, well apart from that field, I almost caught a rabbit, it was so close I could lick it! One day, I have a dream, one day!
I burnt my puppy nose today, I tried to sniff inside the oven when the family was baking, oh it smelt so good, they opened the door and of course I had to look in there, but my nose touched the shelf, my that was hot. I'll try again tomorrow see if I can lick without touching anything oven/hot, if there's a way I'll find it.
Since my return I notice I have a lot of jobs to do, the garden has grown needs my digging skills and that Cat from next door has been in all my puppy places, I can smell it. Wish I could put him in that oven!
Well I'm glad to be back home but I'm feeling tired right now, if you don't mind I think I'll take a quick little puppy nap....See you soon....Zzzzzzzzzzz

Puppy Summer Fun

Take a walk through the jungle!...................I'm not kidding...I can't see a thing, the grass keeps going up my nose and I get puppy sneezes! Now this farmer is what I call, down right lazy.
Mow your lawn!
Thank goodness I don't live with a Chihuahua, we would never have come out of that field alive.
Despite not seeing where I was going we had a lovely puppy walk, I kept myself beautifully clean (well boring, no puddles today!)
Went straight home. After taking a short puppy nap, I discovered something wonderful. It was car wash day. Yippee!
And I was allowed to help, well not help wash actually, but they didn't stop me watching and trying to help.
Why is a puppy bath so awful but splashes from the hose in the hot summer sun so funny? The soapy suds don't taste very nice though, I was only trying to help dry up the driveway.
I only got into trouble two times, first one, I found a rag cloth thought it was just an old piece, smelt like leather and I ran off to the back garden with it for playing later. Oops they needed it to wipe the windows, well, soon washed clean again and the new hole will help to drain the water away, makes sense to me.
Then of course you know how puppies love to run about and get excited sometimes, well I ran a little bit too close to the bucket of clean water and over it went. It missed my families feet by inches, that was close. I licked it up, well not quite all, but I tried.
When we had finished and went indoors, they gave me a puppy treat and said that I behaved very well, gosh, didn't notice that coming.
But I spoilt it after lunch someone left some biscuits out on the coffee table, well you know me, I just couldn't help myself. I had to nick one, then the next one and oh the 5 or 6 left all disappeared. Well you wouldn't put a drink in front of an alcoholic would you? So I'm only half to blame and they had finished eating.
Perhaps I should go to Puppies Anonymous instead of training school, which they say starts just over a week away, Help.
Well I think I've been very very good today and with the sun warming me up I think I'll go outside and enjoy a little puppy nap in my favorite corner, see you tomorrow........Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Puppy with wildlife on walk

Hi everybody, Super well behaved puppy here.
I hope you all have good eyesight & not like me! This photo should be enlarged - The brown splodge behind me on the path is, they tell me, a deer. Well I never saw it, perhaps the farmer should mow his lawn, the grass is getting just a little bit too big for a little puppy like me to see anything.
We have the deer in other photo's but now I'm in trouble for not being in any of them, told you before I just can't win!
But we had a lovely puppy walk over the fields and far away, I was born to run, my problem now is the stream has nearly dried up, where will I get my daily dip?
Off home and I just took a wonderful puppy nap in the garden, lazing in the sun, what a great life! I'm even feeling too lethargic to chew, bite, chase, steal, eat, do anything wrong.
WAIT! wake up, you are letting the side down, what would other puppies say. Puppies Rule. What was I thinking, time for action!
I trotted off to the house, what are they doing? There's a very strange smell coming from the dining room. That surely can't be food, Yuk! Everything is covered with white sheets, I take a peep under the table, it's like a little puppies tent, looks fun. Oh they saw me, I have to get out. It looks like someone stole the stairs and put them in here, but I don't think I can climb those steps, my puppy feet will fall through the gaps.
There's this large tray with some white liquid stuff in it, looks like milk, I sniff. I don't like milk but this doesn't smell like milk, I'll just take a little sip. Aargh!! Not nice. Why is everybody now shouting and laughing at me at the same time?
Something about paint, what's paint? Oh stop trying to clean me, always you are trying to keep me clean. I'm a puppy dog I'm supposed to get dirty sometimes. Then I made the classic big mistake I took a step backwards away from their towel, my foot went into the tray, up went the end and the white stuff spilled out.
How many times in a day can they shout my name, but it was their fault. Now they are using some very smelly stuff to get my foot clean. I am not a happy puppy.
I stink, I go off to the garden, perhaps if I roll in a flower bed, some dirt with get rid of the smell. It didn't and all it did was made one leg dark brown, oh this day just gets worse and worse and it all started so well.
I returned to the house, this time the dining room was closed, well why didn't they do that in the first place.
No-one in the lounge, think I'll take a little puppy nap on the couch, far more comfortable than the garden, must soon be dinner time I'll dream of that.
I'm quite tired after my day, I'll see you tomorrow Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Puppy on a lead - again

Someone please help me I'm back on this puppy lead again!
We went out for a walk and can I help it, I like people and people like me. I've learnt that puppies are very popular. So I try to talk to people, but I'm only a little puppy so I have to make myself big and that means I jump up.
Oops I'm back on the puppy lead again.
So the lesson to learn here is that yes people like puppies, but only to smile at and maybe a gentle pat on the head. Certainly not jumped on, leaving muddy paw prints on their coats!
Silly people. I'm just trying to be friendly.
I'm going through this funny puppy stage where everybody else is silly or stupid! I'm perfect of course.
It just seems to me that whatever I do I'm in a no-win situation: I have to stop it, drop it, leave it, put it down, get down, lay down, sit up, get up, give it up, shut up, go outside, come inside, don't do this or don't do that and the best one of all 'can't you go to sleep for a while?'
Maybe I do a few things that perhaps I shouldn't, but I watch the big black dog and she's boring, no life in her at all. Now we puppies have a rule, life is for today, growing up is for tomorrow.
I heard school is looming..........help.........be nice to make friends, other puppies just like me, no. No way. There just couldn't be any other puppies like me, I'm unique, like a cabbage patch kid, one of a kind. Now having said cabbage patch kids, they live upstairs and apparently if I ever touch one my next home is in heaven. Where's that, near London?
If I want to be free on my walk in the morning I'm going to try and be really really good for the rest of the day..HOW?
Oh there's a magazine I haven't seen before, perhaps just a little read outside. Just to keep me out of the house for a while, you understand.
I'll see you tomorrow........lol..... been told that's means. lots of licks!

Puppy causes trouble again

Hi everybody.
Well my day started wonderfully, as you can see out on a run through the countryside. I honestly thought as a little puppy I was actually getting a lot bigger now but here I am running past sprouting ferns that already are taller than me. How long does it take a puppy to grow?
Now the thing is up until the walk I had been behaving myself, quite the perfect puppy, then on the way home we had to stop at the supermarket while the family ran in for, what ever is it they run in for!!
So the big black dog and I are left in the car and then, oh no, I got this desperate need to poop somewhere. What do you do? I had no choice I left it in the corner, the big black dog looked at me in disgust, well it wasn't my fault, when a puppy has to go, a puppy has to go!!
I thought perhaps they wouldn't notice it, half covered by a piece of blanket. Got that wrong, they returned opened the door and screamed my name. Seems humans have noses after all.
When we got home I knew I was in trouble, no immediate puppy biscuits, they made me wait until after they had disinfected the back of the car. So annoying I hadn't had an accident slip up like that for over a couple of weeks.
I decided to keep out of sight for a while, let them quieten down for a bit and trotted off to the garden, I usually find the odd chore to do out there. Dig some new holes, chew on the fencing, scratch under the gate, find that watering can: the handle's really chewy.
Later I wandered back into the house, the family were busy eating their lunch in the kitchen, I tried my 'I am a cute puppy please feed me face' didn't work today. Walking through the hall I spotted something on a chair that I didn't know what it was, but it smelt good. About half the size of a thin book and smelling of dead animal skin. I sniffed, nobody saw me so I picked it up and walked slowly back into the garden. As I started to chew it something magical happened, it kind of clicked and opened up, there were all these little pieces of paper inside. So I played with these for a while, ate a couple of them but preferred to return to the animal skin. Very soft and playful and rattled like a puppy's toy, as I bit through the magic came again and out popped all these round metal disc things. I think I swallowed one of the small one's but didn't like that very much. By then I felt quite tired and went indoors for a nap.
The family had finished their lunch and were all looking around the house, what are they doing I wondered. One of them pointed to me, 'have you seen my wallet?' I honestly looked back with a blank look on my face, what's a wallet?
The scream only took about another five minutes to come, oh boy, it would appear my last game was pretty bad, I didn't know it was just another game. So here I find myself lying in bed feeling quite sorry for myself. Am I really the worse puppy in town and why am I always in trouble?

Puppy Walking

I have a question, why is it when we are out and meet friends everyone thinks I'm such a cute puppy & so sweet, but at home they call me big trouble?
Today they asked me why do I spend every waking moment looking for mischief? Apparently every time I walk through a room I cannot help but look for something to take and play with. It's true I know I do.
But you know what's it's like, you pass the waste paper bin, any puppy with a decent nose would sniff in there, instinct. On the couch could be crumbs. Always be on the alert I say to myself, people become lazy, I gain so many items, not all eatable though!
And I'm growing, they don't seem to realise how much higher I can reach now.
This week they have been having a real go at me for jumping up, but I love to show how tall I am. Who will stop first, their nagging me or will I have to stop, no, never.
Had a lot of fun out on our walk today, now that they let me off that intolerable puppy lead for a little while I get the chance to run and battle the big black dog for sticks. She's a bit mean though, never wants to give up a stick, so I usually bite her leg!
Our walk today was further away which meant a longer car journey, boring, but I play this fun game and stare at the cars behind us. Everyone is a sucker for a puppy, funny to see how many smile at me, some even wave, oh yes as if I could wave back. Gosh if I could how many car accidents would that cause!
We arrived home and the mailman had delivered late, so it was such fun as we all tried to pick up the letters first, but I got one and raced fast for the garden, no, they hadn't opened the door yet, okay so they won that round!
I've been bored this afternoon, some days I manage to get hold of all sorts of things, but today, not much. No food around, no magazines to chew, not even a remote control box. I have my toys but that's not exciting enough for me. I'm a living breathing healthy puppy, I have to find something to do. So I took a nap but all that did was gave me more energy. I played in the garden, but there's not much left out there to play with.
Came in and my luck was in, someone had got out the sewing box. It was quiet and I had a poke around, found a plastic bag full of stringy things on round wheely things. Gosh they unwind well and all those colors very pretty if I do say it myself. I took my find to the garden, hadn't been out there 2 seconds when the usual scream came from the house. Ooops, caught again.
So here I am with very little to report, hopefully normal service will be restored tomorrow. Someone said it is the weekend, I love the weekend, the house is full of people and we all know how stupid people can be. See you tomorrow.

Hydrotherapy for Puppies

Wow, do you like my new wellies?
If I model these puppy boots would I go down the dogwalk?
But if you saw me like this would you tell me off? A poor sweet adorable little puppy like me.All I did was follow the big black dog into the most lovely soft squelching puddle of mud, it was glorious. Next I hear is my name being screamed, why is it only me they are calling. So we both run back, didn't we look good, like the obedient little puppy I am we set off down the path again. However I just couldn't resist one last splash, I ran back to the pool, oh boy puppy heaven. They called, I ignored them. I couldn't decide which they were more cross about, me back in the mud or my not coming back to them. Guess I have to learn my lessons! Ugh who wants to obey? Not going to be much fun!
I tried so hard to run through the long grass and some of it came off, not enough though. When we got back to the car they didn't even want to pick me up to put me in. I began to feel bad.
But we got home and everything seemed back to normal, they gave me my usual biscrok biscuits after my walk, lots of water to drink, I think they have forgiven me, I think they still love me.......No they don't.....what's this....No...not the tub of water and a towel, a bath. They always make me look so baby puppy fluffy and smell really funny. I hate baths.
It's probably pay back for what I did in the night, I had to go outside as usual about 6am, but I couldn't get back to sleep. So I started having a little sniff around, I found this tube thing, smelt interesting and began to chew. I didn't know what was going to happen next, but somehow the tube got stuck on my tooth and by now I had this smelly stuff in my mouth, I've smelt this before I think on my families hands, why they put it there I really don't know. However I had to shake and shake my head to try and release the tube, but the more I shook the more this creamy stuff came out, it went everywhere, over the carpet, up the wall, on the curtains. I got it free but by now I was quite sleepy so I laid down and got back to sleep. When the family woke up they praised me for letting them have a bit longer in bed, I thought gosh I am a good puppy dog. I trotted off up the garden, then the usual sound of my name being screamed again. Must I always be in trouble?
I did my usual came back in the house head lowered with my 'Oh I'm so sorry puppy eyes' was told never to do it again. If only I could talk to them I would tell them I would never do that again it tasted awful. Thinking back it was quite funny though.
So I firmly believe this bath is my pay back, but I usually win when I'm all wet anyway, I like to shake and the bubbles and water goes all over them so who was the bath for in the first place? I do hope we go up there again tomorrow - mud v. bath. Yep I'd do it all again!
